उपायधर्म-सेनायोगः
Upāya-dharma and Senāyoga: Expedient Ethics & Army Deployment
दशाधिपतय: कार्या: शताधिपतयस्तथा । ततः सहस्राधिपतिं कुर्याच्छूरमतन्द्रितम्
daśādhipatayaḥ kāryāḥ śatādhipatayas tathā | tataḥ sahasrādhipatiṁ kuryāc chūram atandritam ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—படையில் சிலரை பத்துப் பேருக்குத் தலைவர்களாகவும், சிலரை நூறு பேருக்குத் தலைவர்களாகவும் நியமிக்க வேண்டும். அதன் பின் வீரமும் விழிப்பும் கொண்ட, சோம்பலற்ற ஒருவனை ஆயிரம் வீரர்களின் தளபதியாக அமைக்க வேண்டும்.
