Arjuna’s Northern Conquests and Tribute Collection
तस्मिन् काले तु यद् युक्त धर्मकामार्थसंहितम् । तद् राजा धर्मतश्नक्रे प्रजापालनकीर्तनम्
tasmin kāle tu yad yukta dharmakāmārthasaṃhitam | tad rājā dharmataś cakre prajā-pālana-kīrtanam ||
அக்காலத்தில் தர்மம், அர்த்தம், காமம் ஆகியவற்றின் நிறைவேற்றத்திற்குத் தக்க நடத்தை எதுவோ, அதை அரசன் யுதிஷ்டிரன் நீதியோடு மேற்கொண்டான். குடிகளைப் பாதுகாப்பதோடு, அவர்களுக்கு தர்மத்தை இடையறாது போதித்தும் வந்தான்।
