अत्र कार्य समाधत्स्व प्राप्तकालमरिंदम । स्थाने वा गमने वापि दूरं यातश्न सात्यकि:
sañjaya uvāca |
atra kāryaṃ samādhatsva prāptakālam ariṃdama |
sthāne vā gamane vāpi dūraṃ yātaḥ sa sātyakiḥ ||
“எதிரிகளை அடக்கும் வீரனே! இக்கணத்தில் வேண்டிய கடமையில் மனத்தை நிலைநிறுத்து. இங்கே நிலைத்திருக்க வேண்டுமா, அல்லது வேறிடத்திற்குச் செல்ல வேண்டுமா—தீர்மானி; ஏனெனில் சாத்தியகி வெகுதூரம் சென்றுவிட்டான்.”
