अदृश्यांस्तावकान् योधानू् प्रचक्रे शत्रुतापन: । उस समय शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले नरव्याप्र अर्जुनने अपने छोड़े हुए सहस्तरों बाणोंद्वारा आपके योद्धाओंको अदृश्य कर दिया

adṛśyāṁs tāvakān yodhān pracakre śatrutāpanaḥ |
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—பகைவரைத் தணிக்கும் பார்த்தன் அர்ஜுனன் ஆயிரமாயிரம் அம்புகளை விடுத்து உமது வீரர்களை எல்லாத் திசைகளிலும் மூடினான்; அம்புமழையால் அவர்கள் போர்க்களத்தில் கண்காணாதவர்களாய் தோன்றினர்।
