Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
ते शंकमानास्त्वन्योन्यं पप्रच्छुद्धिजसत्तमा: । त ऊचु:ः समयं सर्वे कुर्म इत्यरिकर्शन
te śaṅkamānās tv anyonyaṃ papracchur dhijasattamāḥ | ta ūcuḥ samayaṃ sarve kurma ity arikarśana-śatrusūdana |
சந்தேகத்தில் ஆழ்ந்த அந்த உயர்ந்த இருபிறப்பினர் ஒருவரையொருவர் விசாரிக்கத் தொடங்கினர். இறுதியில் அனைவரும் கூறினர்—“எதிரிகளை அடக்கும் வீரனே! வாருங்கள், நாம் அனைவரும் சேர்ந்து ஒரு சத்திய உடன்படிக்கை செய்வோம்.”
