Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
शक्ता हासि महीं कृत्स्नां वोढुं धारयितुं तथा । न हि ते किंचिदप्राप्पमन्यतो धारणादृते,“देवि! तुम सारी पृथ्वीको धारण करनेमें समर्थ हो, फिर इस गर्भको धारण करना तुम्हारे लिये कुछ असाध्य नहीं है”
śaktā hāsi mahīṁ kṛtsnāṁ voḍhuṁ dhārayituṁ tathā | na hi te kiṁcid aprāpyam anyato dhāraṇād ṛte |
“தேவி! நீ முழு பூமியையும் சுமந்து தாங்க வல்லவள்; ஆகவே இந்த கருவைத் தாங்குவது உனக்கு அசாத்தியம் அல்ல—தாங்குதல் இன்றிப் போக இயலாததைத் தவிர, உனக்குப் பெற முடியாதது எதுவுமில்லை.”
