Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
तस्माद् ये वै प्रयच्छन्ति सुवर्ण धर्मदर्शिन: । देवतास्ते प्रयच्छन्ति समस्ता इति नः श्रुतम्
tasmād ye vai prayacchanti suvarṇaṃ dharmadarśinaḥ | devatās te prayacchanti samastā iti naḥ śrutam ||
ஆகையால் தர்மத்தை உணர்ந்தோர் பொன் தானம் செய்தால், அவர்கள் ஒரே நேரத்தில் எல்லாத் தேவர்களுக்கும் தானம் செய்தவர்களாகவே ஆகிறார்கள் என்று நாம் மரபாகக் கேட்டோம். பொன் தானம் முழுமையான தெய்வார்ப்பணமாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது।
