Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
घोरो विरूप: संवर्त: सुधन्वा चाष्टम: स्मृत: । एतेडष्टौ वहल्लिजा: सर्वे ज्ञाननिष्ठा निरामया:
ghoro virūpaḥ saṃvartaḥ sudhanvā cāṣṭamaḥ smṛtaḥ | ete ’ṣṭau vahallijāḥ sarve jñānaniṣṭhā nirāmayāḥ ||
வசிஷ்டர் கூறினார்—கோரன், விரூபன், சம்வர்த்தன், மேலும் எட்டாவது சுதன்வா—இவர்கள் அவர்களுள் நினைவுகூரப்படுகின்றனர். இவ்வெட்டரும் அக்னிவம்சத்தில் பிறந்தவர்கள்; ஞானத்தில் நிலைத்தவர்கள்; நோய்-துயரமற்றவர்கள்.
