पात्रलक्षण-परिक्षा (Pātra-Lakṣaṇa Parīkṣā) — Criteria for a Worthy Recipient
ये चैनमनुवर्तन्ते ते न यान्ति पराभवम् | नते प्रेत्य विनश्यन्ति गच्छन्ति न पराभवम्
ye cainam anuvartante te na yānti parābhavam | na te pretya vinaśyanti gacchanti na parābhavam ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—பிராமணர்களைத் தொடர்ந்து நடப்போர் தோல்வியடைவதில்லை. மரணத்திற்குப் பின்பும் அவர்கள் அழிவோ வீழ்ச்சியோ அடைவதில்லை; அவமதிப்பையும் பெறாமல், வீழ்ச்சியின்றி முன்னே செல்கின்றனர்.
