अपना छा | अ:-फक्राछ सप्तपञ्चाशर्दाधिकशततमोब् ध्याय: कप नामक दानवोंके द्वारा स्वर्गलोकपर अधिकार जमा लेनेपर ब्राह्म॒णोंका कपोंको भस्म कर देना
bhīṣma uvāca
tṛṣṇīm āsīd arjunas tu pavanastv abravīt punaḥ |
śṛṇu me brāhmaṇeṣv eva mukhyaṃ karma janādhipa ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— “யுதிஷ்டிரா! இவ்வளவும் நடந்தபின்பும் கார்த்தவீர்ய அர்ஜுனன் மௌனமாகவே இருந்தான். அப்போது வாயுதேவன் மீண்டும் சொன்னான்— ‘மனிதர்களின் அரசே! பிராமணர்களுக்குரிய முதன்மையான கடமைகளையும் சிறந்த முன்மாதிரி செயல்களையும் என்னிடமிருந்து கேள்.’”
