भीष्मस्योत्तरायणप्रतीक्षा तथा युधिष्ठिरागमनम् | Bhīṣma’s uttarāyaṇa moment and Yudhiṣṭhira’s arrival

दृष्ट: पश्येदहरह: संश्रित: प्रतिसंश्रयेत्‌ । अर्चितश्षार्चयेन्नित्यं स देवो द्विजसत्तमा:

Transliteration

dṛṣṭaḥ paśyed aharahaḥ saṁśritaḥ pratisaṁśrayet | arcitaś cārcayen nityaṁ sa devo dvijasattama ||

Translation

ஓ இருமுறைப் பிறந்தோரில் சிறந்தவரே! யார் தினந்தோறும் அவரை தரிசிக்கிறாரோ, அவர்மேல் அவர் அருள்நோக்கை செலுத்துகிறார்; யார் அவரைச் சரணடைகிறாரோ, அவருடைய இதயத்தில் அவர் தாமும் தங்குகிறார்; யார் அவரை பூஜிக்கிறாரோ, அவரை அவர் நித்தமும் பூஜ்யனெனக் கருதி மதிக்கிறார்.
