गरुडजन्म तथा विनतादास्यवृत्तान्तः
Garuḍa’s Birth and Vinatā’s Enslavement
सौतिर्वाच एवं ते समयं कृत्वा दासीभावाय वै मिथ: । जम्मतुः स्वगृहानेव श्रो द्रक्ष्याव इति सम ह
Sautir uvāca: evaṁ te samayaṁ kṛtvā dāsī-bhāvāya vai mithaḥ | jagmatuḥ sva-gṛhān eva śvo drakṣyāva iti saṁmataḥ ||
சௌதி கூறினார்—இவ்வாறு அவர்கள் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் அடிமையாவதையே நிபந்தனையாகக் கொண்டு உடன்பாடு செய்தனர். பின்னர் தத்தம் இல்லங்களுக்கு சென்றனர்; “நாளை வந்து குதிரையைப் பார்ப்போம்” என்று தீர்மானித்தனர்.
