कर्ण उवाच तुष्यामि ते विप्रमुख्य भुजवीर्यस्य संयुगे । अविषादस्य चैवास्य शत्त्रास्त्रविजयस्थ च
karṇa uvāca tuṣyāmi te vipramukhya bhujavīryasya saṃyuge | aviṣādasya caivāsya śastrāstravijayasya ca ||
கர்ணன் கூறினான்—ஓ பிராமணச் சிறந்தவரே! போரில் உமது புஜவீரியத்தைப் பார்த்து நான் மகிழ்கிறேன். உம்மில் சோர்வின் குறியும் இல்லை, மனச்சோர்வின் அடையாளமும் இல்லை; மேலும் நீர் ஆயுதங்களையும் அஸ்திரங்களையும் வென்று அவற்றை வசியப்படுத்தியதுபோல் தோன்றுகிறது।
