Cause of Kalmāṣapāda’s Niyoga under a Curse
तस्यां संजनयामास कुरुं संवरणो नृपः । तपत्यां तपतां श्रेष्ठ तापत्यस्त्वं ततोडर्जुन
tasyāṁ sañjanayāmāsa kuruṁ saṁvaraṇo nṛpaḥ | tapatyāṁ tapatāṁ śreṣṭha tāpatyās tvaṁ tato ’rjuna ||
அரசன் சம்வரணன் தபதியின் கர்ப்பத்தில் குருவை உண்டாக்கினான். ஆகவே, தவசிகளில் சிறந்த அர்ஜுனா, அந்த வம்சத்தில் பிறந்ததனால் நீ ‘தாபத்ய’ என அழைக்கப்படுகிறாய்।
