वैशम्पायन उवाच ततः सत्यवती भीष्मं वाचा संसज्जमानया । विहसन्तीव सत्रीडमिदं वचनमब्रवीत्
vaiśampāyana uvāca tataḥ satyavatī bhīṣmaṃ vācā saṃsajjamānayā | vihasantīva sa-trīḍam idaṃ vacanam abravīt |
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—ஜனமேஜயா! அப்போது சத்யவதி தயக்கத்தால் தளர்ந்த குரலில், பெண்ணிய நாணத்துடன், மெல்லப் புன்னகைத்தவள்போல் பீஷ்மரிடம் இவ்வாறு சொன்னாள்।
