प्रशस्ता तव कान्तेयं स्यात् पुत्री विश्वमातृका तस्मात् पुत्री सती नाम्ना तवैषा च भविष्यति
praśastā tava kānteyaṃ syāt putrī viśvamātṛkā tasmāt putrī satī nāmnā tavaiṣā ca bhaviṣyati
அன்பனே, உன் இந்த மகள் மிகச் சிறந்தவளாக இருப்பாள்; அவள் உலகமாதாவாக ஆவாள். ஆகவே உன் இந்த மகள் ‘சதி’ என்ற நாமத்தால் அறியப்படுவாள்.
