यो ऽन्यत्र कुरुते यत्नमनधीत्य श्रुतिं द्विजः / स संमूढो न संभाष्यो वेदबाह्यो द्विजातिभिः

yo 'nyatra kurute yatnamanadhītya śrutiṃ dvijaḥ / sa saṃmūḍho na saṃbhāṣyo vedabāhyo dvijātibhiḥ

ஸ்ருதி (வேதம்) முதலில் கற்காமல் பிற முயற்சிகளில் ஈடுபடும் த்விஜன் முற்றிலும் மயக்கமுற்றவன்; வேதத்திற்கு வெளியானவன் என்பதால் த்விஜர்கள் அவனுடன் உரையாடக் கூடாது।
