शान्ता घोराश्च मूढाश्च विशेषास्तेन ते स्मृताः / परस्परानुप्रवेशाद् धारयन्ति परस्परम्

ஆகவே அவை சாந்தம், கோரம், மூடம் என்ற விசேஷ நிலைகளாக நினைக்கப்படுகின்றன; பரஸ்பர அனுப்ரவேசத்தால் அவை ஒன்றை ஒன்று தாங்குகின்றன.
