Sukta 120
सुकृतस्य लोकः। यदन्तरिक्षं पृथिवीमुत द्यां यन्मातरं पितरं वा जिहिंसिम। अयं तस्माद् गार्हपत्यो नो अग्निरुदिन्नयाति सुकृतस्य लोकम्
sukṛtásya lokáḥ | yád antárikṣaṃ pṛthivī́m utá dyā́ṃ yán mātáraṃ pitáraṃ vā́ jihíṃsimá | ayáṃ tásmād gārhapatyó no agnír úd ín nayāti sukṛtásya lokám ||
The world of well-doing: if we have harmed mid-air, or earth, or heaven; if (we have harmed) mother or father—this our Gārhapatya Agni, from that, doth verily lead upward unto the world of well-doing.
நற்கருமத்தின் உலகம். நாம் அந்தரிக்ஷத்தையோ, பூமியையோ, வானத்தையோ காயப்படுத்தியிருந்தால்; தாயையோ தந்தையையோ துன்புறுத்தியிருந்தால்—எங்கள் இந்த கார்ஹபத்ய அக்னி, அதிலிருந்து எங்களை மேலே உயர்த்தி நற்கருமத்தின் உலகத்திற்குக் கொண்டு செல்கிறது.
