अयमग्निरुपसद्य इह सूर्य उदेतु ते । उदेहि मृत्योर्गम्भीरात् कृष्णाच्चित् तमसस्परि

IAST Transliteration

ayám agnír upasádya ihá sū́rya úd etu te | úd ehi mṛtyór gambhīrā́t kṛṣṇā́c cit támasas pári

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Here is Agni, to be approached and sat beside; let the Sun arise for thee. Rise thou forth from Death’s deep gulf—yea, from the blackness—out of the darkness round about.

Translation

இங்கே அக்னி இருக்கிறான்—அணுகி அருகில் அமரத்தக்கவன்; உனக்காக சூரியன் உதிக்கட்டும். மரணத்தின் ஆழ்ந்த பள்ளத்திலிருந்து—ஆம், கரிய இருளிலிருந்தும்—சுற்றியுள்ள தமஸைத் தாண்டி நீ வெளியே எழுந்து வா.
