Sukta 23
उत् पुरस्तात् सूर्य एति विश्वदृष्टो अदृष्टहा। दृष्टांश्च घ्नन्नदॄष्टांश्च सर्वांश्च प्रमृणन् क्रिमीन्
út purastā́t sū́rya eti viśvádṛṣṭo adṛṣṭahā́ | dṛṣṭā́ṃś ca ghnán adṛṣṭā́ṃś ca sárvāṃś ca pramṛṇán krimī́n ||
Up from the east the Sun advanceth, all-beholding, slayer of the unseen; smiting the seen and smiting the unseen, yea crushing down all worms.
கிழக்கிலிருந்து சூரியன் எழுகின்றான்—அனைத்தையும் காண்பவன், காணாததையும் அழிப்பவன். காணப்படுவதைவும், காணப்படாததையும் தாக்கி, எல்லாக் கிருமிகளையும் நசுக்குகின்றான்.
