Sanskrit (Devanagari)

चक्षुषो हेते मनसो हेते ब्रह्मणो हेते तपसश्च हेते । मेन्या मेनिरस्यमेनयस्ते सन्तु ये३स्माँ अभ्यघायन्ति

IAST Transliteration

cákṣuṣo heté mánaso heté bráhmaṇo heté tápasaś ca heté | menyā́ menír asy aményayas te santu yé ’smā́n abhyaghā́yanti

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

O weapon of the eye, O weapon of the mind, O weapon of spell, O weapon of fervid power—thou art Menī, wrath: let those be without wrath, who against us purpose evil.

Translation

கண்ணின் ஆயுதமே, மனத்தின் ஆயுதமே, பிரஹ்ம (மந்திர)த்தின் ஆயுதமே, தபஸ் (உக்கிர சக்தி)த்தின் ஆயுதமே! நீ ‘மேனீ’—கோபம். எங்களுக்கு எதிராக தீங்கு செய்ய எண்ணுபவர்கள் கோபமற்றவர்கள் (அமேனீ) ஆகட்டும்.
