Sukta 11
यो वेदा॑न॒डुहो॒ दोहा॑न्त्स॒प्तानु॑पदस्वतः । प्र॒जां च॑ लो॒कं चा॑प्नोति॒ तथा॑ सप्तऋ॒षयो॑ विदुः
yó védānaḍúho dóhān saptā́nupadasvataḥ | prajā́ṃ ca lokáṃ cā́pnoti táthā saptarṣáyo vidúḥ ||
Whoso knoweth the draught-ox’ seven yieldings, in ordered sequence step by step, he winneth progeny and winneth a world: thus have the Seven Seers known.
அனடுஹ் (உழவு இழுக்கும் காளை) உடைய ஏழு ‘தோஹ’—பால் போலப் பொழியும் விளைவு/உற்பத்தி—இவற்றை ஒழுங்காக, படிப்படியாக அறிந்தவன், சந்ததியையும் ஒரு லோகத்தையும் பெறுவான்; இவ்வாறு சப்தரிஷிகள் அறிந்துள்ளனர்.
