बृहस्पतिः प्रथमं जायमानो महो ज्योतिषः परमे व्योऽमन्। सप्तास्यस्तुविजातो रवेण वि सप्तरश्मिरधमत् तमांसि

IAST Transliteration

bृहáspátiḥ prathamáṃ jā́yamāno mahó jyótiṣaḥ paramé vyòman | saptā́syas tuvijā́to ravéṇa ví saptáraśmir adhamat támāṃsi ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Br̥haspati, first as he was born, in the highest heaven of mighty light: seven-mouthed, of manifold birth, with his roar, seven-rayed, he blew apart the darknesses.

Translation

பிருஹஸ்பதி—பிறந்தவுடன் முதன்முதலாக—மிகு ஒளியின் பரம வியோமத்தில் வெளிப்பட்டார். ஏழு வாய்களுடையவர், பலவகை பிறப்புடையவர்; தமது கர்ஜனையால், ஏழு கதிர்களையுடையவராய், இருள்களைச் சிதறடித்தார்.
