Sukta 11
सत्रासाहं वरेण्यं सहोदां ससवांसं स्वरपश्च देवीः । ससान यः पृथिवीं द्यामुतेमामिन्द्रं मदन्त्यनु धीरणासः
satrāsā́haṃ váreṇyaṃ sahodā́ṃ sasavā́ṃsaṃ svàr-apaś ca devī́ḥ | sasā́na yáḥ pṛthivī́ṃ dyā́m utémā́m índraṃ madanty ánu dhī́rāṇāsaḥ ||
The ever-conquering, choice-worthy, might-bestowing, victorious, heaven-bright—him the divine powers (goddesses) [attend]; he who hath won the Earth and Heaven and this (realm besides): Indra the steadfast, following (their rite), exhilarate with praise.
எப்போதும் வெற்றி பெறுபவன், தேர்ந்தெடுக்கத் தகுந்தவன், வலமளிப்பவன், வெற்றியாளர், விண்ணொளி உடையவன்—அவனைத் தேவியர் (தெய்வ சக்திகள்) அணுகி சேவிக்கின்றனர். பூமியையும், த்யௌ (வானுலகத்தையும்), இவ்வுலகத்தையும் வென்றவன்—அந்த நிலைத்த இன்றனை, விதியைப் பின்பற்றும் திடமனத்தோர் புகழ்ச்சியால் மகிழ்வுறச் செய்கின்றனர்.
