महानग्न्युप ब्रूते स्वसावेशितं पसः । इत्थं फलस्य वृक्षस्य शूर्पे शूर्पं भजेमहि

IAST Transliteration

mahā́nagnī́ úpa brūte svasā́ āveśítaṃ pásāḥ | ittháṃ phálasya vṛ́kṣasya śū́rpe śū́rpaṃ bhajémahi ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Mahānagnī, drawing near, pronounceth: ‘A sister—into the grain-mass entered (the power). Thus of the fruit of the tree, upon the winnowing-fan, may we take fan upon fan for our portion.’

Translation

மகாநக்னீ அருகே வந்து உரைக்கிறாள்— ‘சகோதரி—தானியக் குவியலில் சக்தி புகுந்துள்ளது. இவ்வாறு மரத்தின் கனியிலிருந்து, சூற்பம் (வின்னோயிங் விசிறி) மீது, சூற்பத்தின் மேல் சூற்பம்—எங்கள் பங்காகப் பெறுவோமாக.’
