अलाबूनि पृषातकान्यश्वत्थपलाशम्। पिपीलिकावटश्वसो विद्युत्स्वापर्णशफो गोशफो जरितरोऽथामो दैव

IAST Transliteration

alā́būni pṛṣā́takāny áśvattha-palā́śam | pipī́likā vaṭa-śvásaḥ vidyút svā́parṇa-śaphó gośaphó jaritaro ’thā́mo daiváḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Gourds, and the speckled things; the leaf of the Aśvattha; the ant; the banyan-breath; lightning; the fair-leafed, hoofed one; the cow-hoofed: O Singer—then, the divine raw might.

Translation

அலாபூ (சுரைக்காய்) களும், புள்ளிப்புள்ளியானவையும்; அஶ்வத்தத்தின் இலை; பிபீலிகா (எறும்பு); வட்ட-ஶ்வாஸ (ஆலமரத்தின் மூச்சுச் சக்தி); மின்னல்; சுபர்ண—குளம்புடையவன்; கோ-ஶப—மாட்டுக் குளம்புடையவன்; ஓ ஜரிதரே (பாடகர்)! அப்போது தெய்வீக ‘ஆம’ (கச்சா) வலிமை.
