Sukta 112
यद् वा प्रवृद्ध सत्पते न मरा इति मन्यसे । उतो तत् सत्यमित् तव
yád vā́ pravr̥ddha satpate ná marā́ íti mányase | utó tát satyám íd táva
If, O might-increased Lord of the True, thou deemest thus, ‘I shall not die,’—then that, moreover, is verily thine own truth.
ஓ ப்ரவ்ருத்த (மிகவும் வளர்ந்த) ஸத்பதே (சத்தியத்தின் ஆண்டவனே)! நீ ‘நான் இறக்கமாட்டேன்’ என்று எண்ணினால், அதுவும் நிச்சயமாக உன்னுடையதே ஆன சத்தியமாகும்.
