यदि क्षितायुर्यदि वा परेतो यदि मृत्योरन्तिकं नीऽत एव। तमा हरामि निरृतेरुपस्थादस्पार्शमेनं शतशारदाय

IAST Transliteration

yádi kṣitā́yur yádi vā parétó yádi mṛtyór ántikaṃ nī́ta evá | tám ā́ harāmi nírṛter upásthād aspā́rśam enaṃ śatáśāradāya

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

If his life be wasted, if he be as one departed, if verily he be led nigh unto Death—him do I bring back from Nirṛti’s lap, making him untouched, for a hundred autumns.

Translation

அவனுடைய ஆயுள் சிதைந்திருந்தாலும், அவன் போய்விட்டவன் போலிருந்தாலும், உண்மையாகவே அவன் மரணத்திற்கருகே கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டிருந்தாலும்—அவனை நான் நிர்ருதி (நிருதி) யின் மடியில் இருந்து மீட்டுக் கொண்டு வருகிறேன்; அவனைத் தீண்டப்படாதவனாக (அஸ்பார்ஷ) ஆக்கி, நூறு சரத்கள் (நூறு ஆண்டுகள்) வரை.
