इमां धियं सप्तशीर्ष्णीं पिता न ऋतप्रजातां बृहतीमविन्दत्। तुरीयं स्विज्जनयद् विश्वजन्योऽयास्य उक्थमिन्द्राय शंसन्

IAST Transliteration

imā́ṃ dhíyaṃ saptáśīrṣṇīṃ pitā́ na ṛtá-prajātāṃ bṛhatī́m avindat | turī́yaṃ svìj janayad viśvájanyo ’yā́syá ukthám índrāya śáṃsan

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

This thought, seven-headed, born of ṛta, lofty—our Father found it. A fourth (portion) verily did the all-men’s (seer) Ayāsya generate, reciting an utterance unto Indra.

Translation

ருதத்திலிருந்து பிறந்த, உயர்ந்த, ஏழு-தலை கொண்ட இந்தத் தியா/சிந்தனையை எங்கள் பிதா கண்டடைந்தார். அதன் நான்காம் பகுதியை உண்மையாகவே ‘அனைவருக்குமான’ ஆயாஸ்யன் உருவாக்கினான்; இந்திரனுக்காக உக்தம் (புகழுரை) உரைத்து.
