Sukta 29

शि॒वाभि॑ष्टे॒ हृद॑यं तर्पयाम्यनमी॒वो मो॑दिषीष्ठाः सु॒वर्चाः॑ । स॒वा॒सिनौ॑ पिबतां म॒न्थमे॒तम॒श्विनो॑ रू॒पं प॑रि॒धाय॑ मा॒याम्

śivā́bhiṣṭe hṛ́dayaṃ tarpayāmy an-amīvó módiṣīṣṭhāḥ suvárcāḥ | savāsináu pibatāṃ mántham etám aśvínō rūpáṃ paridhā́ya māyā́m ||

With this benign, well-wished draught I sate the heart: be thou disease-unvexed; rejoice, and shine with goodly lustre. Let the two Aśvins, duly arrayed, drink this mantha, having assumed their form and their wondrous healing power.

இந்த சிவ (நன்மை தரும்), அபிஷ்ட (விரும்பத்தக்க) பானத்தால் நான் இதயத்தைத் திருப்திப்படுத்துகிறேன். நீ நோயால் வாட்டப்படாதவனாக இரு; மகிழ்ந்து, அழகிய ஒளியால் பிரகாசி. அஸ்வினௌ, தங்கள் ரூபத்தையும் மாயா-சக்தியையும் (அற்புத மருத்துவ-சக்தி) அணிந்து கொண்டு, விதிப்படி இந்த மந்தத்தை அருந்தட்டும்.
