ऊर्ज॑मस्मा ऊर्जस्वती धत्तं॒ पयो॑ अस्मै पयस्वती धत्तम्। ऊर्ज॑म॒स्मै द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी अ॑धातां॒ विश्वे॑ दे॒वा म॒रुत॒ ऊर्ज॒मापः॑
ū́rjam asmai ūrjasvatī dhattaṃ páyo asmai payasvatī dhattam | ū́rjam asmai dyā́vā-pṛthivī adhātāṃ víśve devā́ marúta ū́rjam ā́paḥ
Bestow on him strength, O Strength-endowed; bestow on him milk, O Milk-abounding. Let Heaven and Earth establish strength for him; all the Gods, the Maruts, and the Waters—(bestow) strength.
ஊர்ஜஸ்வதீயே! இவனுக்கு ஊர்ஜ் (வலிமை) அளித்தருள்வாயாக; பயஸ்வதீயே! இவனுக்கு பயஸ் (பால்/போஷக ரசம்) அளித்தருள்வாயாக. த்யாவா-பிருதிவீ இவனுக்காக ஊர்ஜை நிறுவுக; விஷ்வே தேவர்கள், மருத், மற்றும் ஆபः—இவனுக்கு ஊர்ஜ் (வலிமை) அருள்க.
