Sukta 45
चतुर्वीरं बध्यत आञ्जनं ते सर्वा दिशो अभयास्ते भवन्तु । ध्रुवस्तिष्ठासि सवितेव चार्य इमा विशो अभि हरन्तु ते बलिम्
catúrvīraṃ badhyata ā́ñjanaṃ te sárvā díśo ábhayās te bhavantu | dhruvás tiṣṭhāsi savitéva cā́rya imā́ víśo abhí harantu te balím ||
Bind on for thee the fourfold-guarded Añjana: let all the quarters for thee be free from fear. Stand thou fast, moving as Savitar moves; let these peoples draw nigh and bring to thee their tribute.
உனக்காக நான்கு-காவல் உடைய (சதுர்வீர) அஞ்சனம் கட்டப்படுக; உனக்காக எல்லாத் திசைகளும் அச்சமற்றவையாக ஆகுக. நீ திடமாக நிலைத்திரு; சவிதா போல் இயங்கிச் செல்; இம்மக்கள் உன்னை அணுகி வந்து உனக்குத் தங்கள் பலி (வரி/அர்ப்பணம்) கொண்டு வருக.
