Sukta 4
यदा प्राणो अभ्यवर्षीद् वर्षेण पृथिवीं महीम्। पशवस्तत् प्र मोदन्ते महो वै नो भविष्यति
yadā́ prāṇó ’bhyávārṣīd várṣeṇa pr̥thivī́ṃ mahī́m | paśávas tát prá módante máho vái nó bhaviṣyati ||
When Prāṇa hath rained upon the mighty Earth with rain, then do the cattle thereat rejoice and thrive: great good, indeed, shall be for us.
பிராணன் மாபெரும் பூமியின் மீது மழையால் மழை பொழிந்தபோது, கால்நடைகள் மகிழ்ந்து வளம் பெறுகின்றன; நமக்குப் பெரும் நன்மை நிச்சயமாக உண்டாகும்.
