मर्माविधं रोरुवतं सुपर्णैरदन्तु दुश्चितं मृदितं शयानम्। य इमां प्रतीचीमाहुतिममित्रो नो युयुत्सति

IAST Transliteration

marmāvidháṁ rórūvatam supárṇair adantu duścítaṁ mṛditáṁ śayā́nam | yá imā́ṁ pratī́cīm ā́hutim amítró no yuyútsati ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Pierced in his vital parts, howling—let the fair-winged devour him, the ill-devised, crushed down, lying low: the foe who would contend with us, and turn this oblation back against us.

Translation

மர்மங்களில் குத்தப்பட்டு அலறுகிறவனை—சுபர்ணர்கள் (அழகிய சிறகுடைய பறவைகள்) அந்தத் தீய-யோசனையுடைய, நசுக்கப்பட்டு தாழ்ந்து கிடக்கும் பகைவரை உண்ணட்டும்; எவன் இந்தப் பிரதீசீ ஆஹுதியைத் திருப்பி எங்களுக்கெதிராகப் போரிட விரும்புகிறானோ அவன்.
