यदग्ने अद्य मिथुना शपातो यद् वाचस्तृष्टं जनयन्त रेभाः । मन्योर्मनसः शरव्या३ जायते या तया विध्य हृदये यातुधानान्

IAST Transliteration

yád agne adyá mithunā́ śápāto yád vā́cas tṛṣṭáṃ janáyanta rebhā́ḥ | manyór mánasaḥ śarávyā̀ jā́yate yā́ táyā vidhya hṛ́daye yātudhā́nān ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

What, O Agni, today from mutual cursing, what the revilers beget—speech sharpened to a point—; the arrow that is born of wrath, of the mind: with that, pierce the Yātudhānas in the heart.

Translation

அக்னியே! இன்று பரஸ்பர சாபமிடுதலால், நிந்தகர்கள் உருவாக்குவது—முனைபோல் கூர்மையாக்கப்பட்ட சொல்—; கோபத்திலும் மனத்திலும் இருந்து பிறக்கும் அம்பு எதுவோ, அதனால் யாதுதானர்களை இதயத்தில் குத்தி வீழ்த்து.
