वशा यज्ञं प्रत्यगृह्णाद् वशा सूर्यमधारयत्। वशायामन्तरविशदोदनो ब्रह्मणा सह

IAST Transliteration

vaśā́ yajñáṃ práty agṛhṇād vaśā́ sū́ryam adhārayat | vaśā́yām ántar aviśad odanáḥ bráhmaṇā sahá ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Vaśā took hold upon the sacrifice; Vaśā upheld the Sun. Within Vaśā entered the rice-mess, together with the sacred spell.

Translation

வஷா யஜ்ஞத்தைப் பற்றிக் கொண்டாள்; வஷா சூரியனைத் தாங்கினாள். வஷாவின் உள்ளே ஓதன (சமைத்த அரிசி அன்னம்) பிரஹ்மணா—புனித மந்திர-வலிமையுடன்—நுழைந்தது.
