Sukta 10
ईर्माभ्यामयनं जातं सक्थिभ्यां च वशे तव । आन्त्रेभ्यो जज्ञिरे अत्रा उदरादधि वीरुधः
ī́rmābhyām áyanaṃ jātáṃ sákthibhyāṃ ca vaśe táva | ā́ntrébhyó jajñire átrá udárād ádhi vīrúdhaḥ ||
From thy paired supports the course was born, and from thy thighs likewise, O Vasā. From the intestines here were the plants brought forth; from the belly, from within, the herbs arose.
உன் இரட்டைப் தாங்குதல்களிலிருந்து நடை/பாதை பிறந்தது; உன் தொடைகளிலிருந்தும், ஓ வஸா. இங்கே உன் குடல்களிலிருந்து தாவரங்கள் தோன்றின; வயிற்றின் உள்ளிருந்து மூலிகைகள் (வீருத், vīrudh) எழுந்தன.
