भूमेर्ध्राणं केशनखं गौरवं स्थिरतो ऽस्थितः मातृजानि मृदून्यत्र त्वङ्मांसहृदयानि च

bhūmerdhrāṇaṃ keśanakhaṃ gauravaṃ sthirato 'sthitaḥ mātṛjāni mṛdūnyatra tvaṅmāṃsahṛdayāni ca

பூமித் தத்துவத்திலிருந்து மணவுணர்வு, முடி மற்றும் நகம், கனத்தன்மை, நிலைத்தன்மை உண்டாகின்றன. இங்கு ‘மாத்ருஜ’ எனக் கருதப்படும் மென்மையான திசுக்கள்—தோல், மாம்சம், இதயம்—இவையும் பூமியிலிருந்து தோன்றியவையாகக் கணிக்கப்படுகின்றன.
