रक्षोघ्नञ्च यशस्यञ्च तथैव विजयप्रदं अयत्नो अग्निरित्येतत् संग्रामे विजयप्रदं
rakṣoghnañca yaśasyañca tathaiva vijayapradaṃ ayatno agnirityetat saṃgrāme vijayapradaṃ
இந்த மந்திரம் ராக்ஷஸங்களை அழிப்பதும், புகழ் தருவதும், வெற்றியை அளிப்பதும் ஆகும். ‘அயத்நோऽக்னிஃ’ என்ற உச்சரிப்பு போரில் வெற்றியை வழங்கும்.
