FAQs

Ayurvedic therapeutics: preparing and drinking herbal decoctions (kvātha) of trapūṣa-seeds for urinary obstruction and neem or vāsā (vṛṣa) for skin disorders.

It preserves practical medical prescriptions alongside theology and ritual, showing the Agni Purana’s wide scope as a compendium that includes applied Ayurveda (home-remedies and clinical directions).

By restoring bodily balance and cleanliness through dhārmic, non-harmful remedies, the instruction supports purity (śauca) and fitness for daily duties and worship, indirectly aiding righteous conduct (dharma).
