गायत्र्या हावयेद्वह्नौ दूर्वान्त्रिमधुराप्लुताम् यस्मिन् भे व्याधिमाप्नोति तस्मिन् स्नानं बलिः शुभे

gāyatryā hāvayedvahnau dūrvāntrimadhurāplutām yasmin bhe vyādhimāpnoti tasmin snānaṃ baliḥ śubhe

காயத்ரீ மந்திரத்தை ஜபித்தபடி, திரிமதுரம் (மூன்று இனிப்புப் பொருட்கள்) நனைத்த தூர்வா புல்லை அக்னியில் ஹோமம் செய்ய வேண்டும். எந்த நட்சத்திரத்தில் நோய் ஏற்பட்டதோ, அதே நட்சத்திர நேரத்தில் ஸ்நானமும் சுப பலி அர்ப்பணிப்பும் செய்ய வேண்டும்.
