The Procedure for Homa and Related Rites

प्रद्युम्नेन पयस्तज्जात् दधि नारायणाद् घृतम् एकद्वित्र्यादिवाराणि घृताद्वै भागतोधिकम्

pradyumnena payastajjāt dadhi nārāyaṇād ghṛtam ekadvitryādivārāṇi ghṛtādvai bhāgatodhikam

பிரத்யும்னனிடமிருந்து பால் உண்டாகிறது; அதிலிருந்து தயிர் பிறக்கிறது; நாராயணனிடமிருந்து நெய் பெறப்படுகிறது. ஒன்று, இரண்டு, மூன்று முதலிய முறை மத்தனம்/காய்ச்சல் செய்தால் சாதாரண நெய்யை விட பங்குகளால் அதிக விளைவு கிடைக்கும்।
