The Description of the Sarvatobhadra Maṇḍala (सर्वतोभद्रमण्डलकथनम्)

निधाय केशराग्रे तु दलसन्धींस्तु लाञ्छयेत् पातयित्वाथ सूत्राणि तत्र पत्राष्टकं लिखेत् रसं गन्धञ्च पद्मेषु चतुर्विंशतिषु क्रमात् प्रत्यग्निष्टोमकमिति ख, चिह्नितपुस्तकपाठः ज्योतिष्टोमकमिति ङ, चिह्नितपुस्तकपाठः जीवं मनोधिपञ्चाहं प्रकृतिं शब्दमात्रकं

கேசரத்தின் முனையில் குறியை வைத்து இதழ்-சந்திகளைச் சின்னமிட வேண்டும். பின்னர் நூல்களைத் தாழ்த்தி அங்கே அஷ்டதளத் தாமரை வடிவத்தை எழுத வேண்டும். வரிசையாக இருபத்துநான்கு தாமரைகளில் ‘ரஸ’ மற்றும் ‘கந்த’ என்ற சொற்களை எழுத வேண்டும். (சில குறியிடப்பட்ட கைப்பிரதிகளில் ‘ப்ரத்யக்நிஷ்டோமகம்’, சிலவற்றில் ‘ஜ்யோதிஷ்டோமகம்’ எனப் பாடம் உள்ளது.) அதன் பின் ‘ஜீவ’, ‘மனோதிப’, ‘பஞ்சாஹ’, ‘ப்ரக்ருதி’, ‘சப்தமாத்ரக’ ஆகியவற்றை ந்யாசமாக நிறுவ வேண்டும்.
