Vidya Category: {"primary_vidya":"Tantra","secondary_vidya":"Mantra","practical_application":"Bhūta-śuddhi and mantra-bīja based inner purification preceding pūjā/nyāsa; visualization of cosmic creation (brahmāṇḍa) as a ritual construct.","sutra_style":true}

Encyclopedic Reference: {"reference_type":"Procedure","entry_title":"Bhūta-śuddhi: Prokṣaṇa by Dhyāna, Vāyu-bīja Śodhana, and Dahana-bīja Sṛṣṭi of Brahmāṇḍa","lookup_keywords":["bhūta-śuddhi","vāyu-bīja","dahana-bīja","prokṣaṇa","brahmāṇḍa-dhyāna"],"quick_summary":"Purify the ritual body/field by meditative sprinkling, cleanse with the Vāyu seed, then ignite with the Agni (Dahana) seed to visualize the emergence of the cosmic egg as the purified basis for worship."}

Concept: Microcosm–macrocosm correspondence: the practitioner reconstructs the cosmos within the body/field through bīja-mantra and dhyāna, making it fit for divine presence.

Application: Use sequential visualization (sprinkling → vāyu cleansing → agni ignition) to stabilize attention and purify sensory/mental turbulence before mantra-japa or pūjā.

Khanda Section: Puja-vidhi / Mantra-bija-nyasa and Bhuta-shuddhi (Tantric-style ritual purification)

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: shanta

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A yogin-priest performs inner prokṣaṇa through meditation; swirling wind glyph (vāyu-bīja) cleanses the aura, then a controlled inner flame (dahana-bīja) forms a luminous brahmāṇḍa (cosmic egg) around the practitioner.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural, stylized yogin seated in padmāsana, spiral wind motifs with seed-syllable glyph, then a red-gold flame forming an oval cosmic egg, temple lamp ambience, decorative borders","tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore style, central yogin with gold halo, embossed gold oval brahmāṇḍa, wind rendered as silver-blue curls, agni as ruby-red flame, heavy gold ornamentation and rich textiles","mysore_prompt":"Mysore painting, stepwise instructional panels: (1) dhyāna-prokṣaṇa, (2) vāyu-bīja śodhana, (3) dahana-bīja sṛṣṭi of brahmāṇḍa; clear labels, soft colors","mughal_miniature_prompt":"Mughal miniature, refined interior with a sādhaka, delicate calligraphic bīja glyphs in the air, translucent oval cosmic egg, fine flame detailing, balanced composition"}

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"instructional","suggested_raga":"Hamsadhwani","pace":"medium","voice_tone":"instructional"}

Sandhi Resolution Notes: dhyānamārgena → dhyāna-mārgeṇa; vāyuvījena → vāyu-vījena; dahanavījena → dahana-vījena; brahmāṇḍasañjñikām → brahmāṇḍa-sañjñikām.

FAQs

It teaches a bhūta-śuddhi style sequence: ritual asperging through meditative procedure, purification using the Vāyu seed-mantra, and then a fire-seed (Dahana/Agni-bīja) operation to effect a visualization/emanation of cosmic creation (brahmāṇḍa).

It preserves practical ritual technology—bīja-mantra application, elemental purification (vāyu/agni), and cosmological visualization (brahmāṇḍa)—showing the text’s coverage beyond myth into procedural liturgy and yogic-tantric methods.

The instruction frames inner and outer purification as a prerequisite for sacred action: cleansing through vāyu (subtle purification) and transforming through agni (consecration), aligning the practitioner with a ritually re-created cosmos.
