This is a colophon marking the completion of a chapter; spiritually, it frames the narrative as śāstra—meant to be heard with reverence—reminding the seeker that even accounts of conflict in the Yuddha-khaṇḍa ultimately point to Śiva’s governance of dharma and the ordering of the gaṇas under His lordship (Pati).
By naming Andhaka’s attainment of “Gaṇapatya” and situating it within Rudra Saṃhitā, the text emphasizes Saguna Śiva as the personal Lord who appoints roles, grants proximity, and regulates divine hosts—an aspect commonly approached through Linga-worship as the accessible, sanctifying presence of Śiva for devotees.
As a chapter-ending marker, it primarily suggests śravaṇa (devotional listening/recitation) and smaraṇa (remembrance). A practical takeaway is to conclude recitation with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and a brief prayer to Śiva as Gaṇeśvara (Lord of the gaṇas) for steadiness in dharma.
