सम्पश्यमाना अमदन्नभि स्वं पयः प्रत्नस्य रेतसो दुघानाः । वि रोदसी अतपद्घोष एषां जाते निष्ठामदधुर्गोषु वीरान् ॥

sampáśyamānā amadan abhí sváṃ páyaḥ pratnásya rétaso dúghānāḥ | ví rodasī atapad ghóṣa eṣāṃ jā́te níṣṭhām adadhur góṣu vīrā́n ||

सम्पश्य॑मानाः स्वे पय॑सि अमदन्, प्र॒त्नस्य॒ रेत॑सः पयः दु॒हाना॑ः। एषां घोषः रोद॑सी व्यतपदत्; जाते सति निष्ठां दृढाम् अदधुः, गोषु (रश्मिषु) वीरान् न्यधुः।
