अर्चामि वां वर्धायापो घृतस्नू द्यावाभूमी शृणुतं रोदसी मे । अहा यद्द्यावोऽसुनीतिमयन्मध्वा नो अत्र पितरा शिशीताम् ॥
Transliteration
arcā́mi vāṃ vardhā́yāpo ghṛtasnū́ dyā́vābhūmī śṛṇutáṃ rodasī me | ahā́ yád dyā́vo 'sú-nītim áyan mádhvā no átra pitarā́ śiśītām ||
Translation
घृतस्नू आपो द्यावाभूमी च वां वर्धायार्चामि; रोदसी मे वचः शृणुतम्। यद् द्यावो दीप्ताः असुनीतिं नयन्ति, तदत्र पितरौ नो मधु शिशीताम्—अन्तर्हव्यं तीक्ष्णं साधु च कुर्वीताम्।
