Trisira’s Counsel and the Slaying of Naranthaka
तस्मिन्प्रवृत्तेतुमुलेविमर्देप्रहृष्यमाणेषुवलीमुखेषु ।निपात्यमानेषु च राक्षसेषुमहर्षयोदेवगणाश्चनेदुः ।।।।
tasmin pravṛtte tumule vimarde prahṛṣyamāṇeṣu valīmukheṣu | nipātyamāneṣu ca rākṣaseṣu maharṣayo devagaṇāś ca neduḥ ||
तस्मिन् प्रवृत्ते तुमुले विमर्दे प्रहृष्यमाणेषु वलीमुखेषु । निपात्यमानेषु च राक्षसेषु महर्षयो देवगणाश्च नेदुः ॥
As the conflict progressed and tumultuous fighting was on, Vanaras were feeling exultant and seeing Rakshasas struck down the ascetics and Devatas made loud noises in joy.
Dharma is affirmed as a cosmic order: when adharma is checked, even divine and ascetic witnesses respond, signaling moral alignment of the struggle.
The battle intensifies; Vānaras gain momentum while Rākṣasas fall, and celestial beings react audibly.
Collective morale and righteous zeal—joy arising from effective resistance to wrongdoing.
