Dharma is compassionate solidarity and truthful remembrance: Aṅgada’s lament gathers the moral weight of loss (Sītā, Jaṭāyu) and the costs of duty-bound conflict (Vāli’s death), acknowledging consequences rather than denying them.
After failing to find Sītā within the time limit, the vanara leaders sit in prāyopaveśa; Aṅgada, overwhelmed, laments multiple tragedies connected to their mission.
Karunā (compassion) and bhāra-bodha (sense of burden): Aṅgada feels the collective sorrow and the gravity of events, revealing a sensitive, responsible leadership temperament.
